Philippine mythology is a diverse collection of beliefs, stories, and traditions originating from the ancient Negrito, Austroasiatic, and Papuans civilizations.

A distinctive feature of Philippine mythology is its emphasis on spirits and nature deities. Unlike other mythologies that had a unified narrative, the heroes, dieties, and creatures in Philippine mythology are different from each other. Like the Inuit, Philippine mythology is also deeply rooted in animism.
